Yes, A nice quote. The editing has perhaps helped to enhance the feeling and richness of the colours and the photo is a forest scene we’d all love to experience. It’s a photo which encourages the viewer to pause and savour moments like that. It’s not always possible to go out searching for scenes like that but important to take them in when they come our way. Thanks for sharing that moment.
Hmmm! Something strange is happening when I leave a comment on your site. The last comment attributed to anonymous was me (Postcard Cafe). After leaving the comment it didn’t show up immediately and now I’ve looked it’s there but under ‘anonymous’ as is one of the comments I left last night which also didn’t show up immediately. The comment which showed up as Postcard Cafe I think I left directly in WordPress ‘Reader’ rather than clicking through to your site. Might there be something in your settings which is leading to a mixed experience. Perhaps something under settings and then comments!???
So you know what happened for me. I left a comment on the blog post page which opens through Reader when I click on the post via Reader. I then pressed the ‘reply’ button and my comment just disappeared as if it hadn’t been sent. I had copied the message in case it just disappeared and repeated to send it again and it said I’d already sent the message but the original still failed to show. I know sometimes people have their setting set so they can first approve comments before they appear. However usually I’d see a message saying “your comment is awaiting approval” or similar. There was no such message which left me puzzled and wondering what had happened to my comment. Then of course I looked this morning and my comment has been posted as anonymous despite being logged into WordPress under Postcard Cafe! Most strange. It’s not something I’ve encountered before. As I say it might just be something switched on or off in settings so it might be worth investigating.
The comments which seem to appear (like this one – possibly!🤷♂️) are typed up from the little pop down on my site under the little bell ‘likes’ icon in the top left corner. The pop down shows likes and comments left by visitors so I’m able to read replies to comments I’ve left. Hopefully this message will make it through…. 🤷♂️🤔🙂👍
Yes very strange.All your comments today have been coming through twice, I.e. as anonymous and as Postcard Cafe. My settings have not been changed and I always have it set to hold comments until approved. I initially approved one of your comments and later decided to approve the duplicate one as, like you, I realised something wasn’t quite right. That might account for the delay. Hopefully this is a temporary glitch. If it continues to happen I will let you know but just approve the Postcard Cafe comments and not the anonymous ones. 👍👍
