The Beatles Statue

Yesterday, Jude, (not real name) needed a little Help! Jude had a Ticket to Ride but an out of date passport. We Can Work It Out, I said and offered a Magical Mystery Tour to Liverpool passport office. The road wasn’t too Long and Winding but sadly didn’t take us down Penny Lane nor Strawberry Fields. Jude was grateful for A Little Help From Her Friend. The passport office was super efficient and the business was done in less than 5 minutes, hardly time to say Hello, Goodbye.

From there it is just a few minutes walk to the attractions of Liverpool Waterfront where the Beatles are still attracting the crowds. There was an orderly and good humoured queue of people wanting to be photographed with the Fab Four. The fact that these were bronze didn’t seem to bother anyone!

  1. Brings back many memories. The words of the song “Help” where with very little changing express my life’s experiences.

  2. This is my home town but I don’t live here now. My sister in law kindly took a photo of me with these statues a couple of years ago when visting. Love how you got in so many song titles in your post. Your wonderful photos have made me a little homesick. Lol.

    1. Yes good to see the queue and some of the people wouldn’t even have been born when the Beatles were at the height of their popularity. We enjoyed our brief visit and will hopefully return and spend more time there.
