When a recipe asks for fresh herbs we have no problem here in Newton Solney. Just a couple of minutes walk from home and we have the freshest herbs possible thanks to our enterprising Village in Bloom group. Help yourself, although the immediate neighbours never do.

I have enjoyed Coronation chicken the few times I have had it. The quiche doesn’t sound that tasty but we are going to make one to try.

I saw some humour in the fact the herb garden is next to a graveyard. A subtle reminder of the benefits of a healthy diet. Eat herbs or you’ll end up planted next to them 😀
