Stormy Saturday Squares

“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.” Haruki Murakami, Kafka on the Shore.

Words written twenty years ago but very appropriate at the current time.

    1. Thanks Sue. All taken within about 30 minutes. A possibly ‘illegal’ trip to Foremark Reservoir, 3.9 miles from home! We were just about the only people there so very safe and the grandchildren love it on ‘the beach’ which can be seen in the sunny photo, – our daily exercise.

      1. I think you can count 3.9 as local. If 3.9 wasn’t local I wouldn’t be able to go the supermarket- haha, just realised I hardly ever do that. I mostly send the family these days! 🙂
