“There is always in February, some one day, at least, when one smells, the yet distant, but surely coming Summer”
Victorian gardener Gertude Jekyll.

I managed to take this when the sun came out very briefly this afternoon. However, within a few minutes of arriving back home, the dark clouds reappeared and the rain started again. So much for ‘one day at least’ in February, more like ‘a few minutes at least’.
(Thanks Andrew over at ‘Have bag, will travel’ for posting the quote a couple of weeks ago. I said I would try and use it before the end of the month!)
Those moments may be brief, but they are most welcome!

They certainly are, Peter. Let’s see what joys the rest of the month has in store for us.
