The golden age of sending and receiving postcards has gone. Postcards already seem to be items of nostalgia; things from another era. Today we’re more likely to send or receive a text, Instagram, a ‘tweet’ or a selfie on Facebook, accompanied by a photo of a plate of fish and chips or a cup of coffee. This blog can’t change the past but it may just encourage us to send a few more postcards in the future.
